A photo of Frieren fitted into the face cutout of a Billiken statue was posted on the official X account of "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," creating a huge buzz.
The Billiken is famous for the statue enshrined at Tsutenkaku Tower in Shinsekai, Osaka. Known as a god of good luck, it is said that rubbing the soles of its feet makes wishes come true. In the newly released image, accompanied by the short text "Billy-ken," a Frieren plushie with a squinting expression is seen fitting perfectly into the face section of a golden Billiken statue placed next to a model of Tsutenkaku Tower.
