In Episode 166 of the anime "Chiikawa," a frustrating yet endearing scene was depicted where Chiikawa (CV: Haruka Aoki) and Hachiware (CV: Makoto Tanaka) desperately want to call Rakko (CV: Yūma Uchida) "Master" but just can't bring themselves to say it due to their nervousness.
The first half of Episode 166 showed Chiikawa and his friends admiring Shisa (CV: Miyuri Shimabukuro), who works at the ramen shop "Rō," as he calls Ramen no Yoroi-san (CV: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) "Master."
Right after Hachiware mutters, "I wish... I could try... calling him 'Master'..." and Chiikawa nods, Rakko happens to walk by. Seeing their perfect chance, the two approach Rakko to call out to him, but they get so flustered that they can barely get the words out, stammering, "Ah... M... Mas..." and "ter..."
Although Rakko turns around and asks, "What is it?", the two ultimately fail to tell him clearly, and the scene closes with a lingering sense of awkward frustration.
In response to this scene where they couldn't take that final step, viewers flooded social media with words of encouragement, such as "It seems like they can say it, but they can't... how frustrating!" and "Hang in there, you two!" Furthermore, many comments expressed anticipation for changes in their future relationship and Rakko's reaction, stating, "He really is the perfect person to be called 'Master,'" and "I wonder how Rakko-san would react if he were called 'Master'?"
