Episode 77 of the anime "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-" 4th Season has been broadcasting sequentially since June 17. The interaction between Subaru Natsuki (CV: Yūsuke Kobayashi) and Emilia (CV: Rie Takahashi), which looked back on their bond since their first meeting, warmed the hearts of fans, drawing comments like "I thought this was an incredibly moving episode for people who have watched Re:ZERO since episode 1" and "An absolute masterpiece of an episode!!"

The subtitle for Episode 77, the final episode of the 4th Season's "Missing Phase" (Sōshitsu-hen), is none other than "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-". Subaru, who has lost his memories, feels that even his comrades' feelings have become a burden, and poured out his painful heart, asking, "Why are you trying to save me?"

Then Emilia began to reminisce, saying, "The first time Subaru and I met was at a place called the loot cellar in the Royal Capital." Even when asked, "Do you remember?", Subaru could only shake his head, but Emilia still told him about their journey together so far, one step at a time.

However, unable to believe in himself, Subaru vented his helpless feelings, shouting, "Subaru Natsuki is a helpless piece of trash! I know that better than anyone!" In fact, this interaction was the exact same one the two had when they had just met. In Episode 3, "Starting Life from Zero," Emilia had asked to shake Subaru's hand with a smile, saying, "My name is Emilia. Just Emilia."
