The synopsis and advance cuts for Episode 1 of the TV anime "Saga of Tanya the Evil II," which is scheduled to start broadcasting in July, have been released.

"Saga of Tanya the Evil" is based on the military fantasy novel by Carlo Zen. The story follows an elite salaryman who is reincarnated into an alternate world as a blonde, blue-eyed young girl named Tanya, using her overwhelming magical genius to survive a harsh and chaotic war. In the second season, airing approximately nine years after the first season in 2017, Tanya is appointed as the commander of a newly formed, ragtag unit, depicting how she is driven into a grueling, deadlocked war with no exit in sight. Animation production is handled by NUT, continuing from the first season. On ABEMA, the anime will be available with exclusive advance terrestrial broadcasting and the fastest web streaming every Wednesday at 23:00 starting July 8.
