The TV anime adaptation of the fantasy novel Heir to a Monstermancer has been announced, with a teaser visual and main cast and staff details revealed.
Heir to a Monstermancer won the Grand Prize by unanimous vote of the judges at the 2nd Drecom Media Award, a novel contest for new writers. The original novel is a fantasy story following Leen, a descendant of witches with the power to command monsters; her slime companion Ao; and the adventurer Hakura, known as the \"Witch Hunter,\" as they meet and travel together while interacting with both monsters and people.
