—The representation of her full-body burn scars was also striking and cool. Was that a key point you focused on?
Taiga: Yes, my top priority was the burn scars. I needed to find the right balance to express a Maki who is beautiful despite being covered in scars. I love meeting fellow otaku at events, so it makes me happy when people see me and instantly recognize the character!
—Was the anime your introduction to "Jujutsu Kaisen"?
Taiga: Yes, the anime! My otaku friends kept strongly recommending that I watch it. Even though Maki wasn't born with natural talent, her story of being serious and hard-working really resonated with me.
—Are there any characters you would like to try cosplaying in the future?
Taiga: I want to do more video game and anime cosplays in the future! Sometime soon, I’m planning to cosplay Lucy from "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners."
—Thank you so much!
tigerish Taiga, who stood out at the cosplay venue with her incredibly cool cosplay. We look forward to seeing more of her highly detailed cosplays in the future.
