Wow! "Promise Me" is getting an anime adaptation! I'm so shocked! It truly feels like a dream! Since this was my first serialized manga, I was drawing blindly without knowing left from right, so when my editor told me it might get animated, I was happy but honestly filled with anxiety. However, it was the reliable anime production staff who blew all those anxieties away.
They deeply considered what kind of characters Koichi and Zukki are, and they crafted both the script and character designs beautifully. Thank you so much!! I can't wait to see MelStro singing and dancing, and Koichi waving his penlight!
