I am truly honored to be involved in a new title for the Gundam series.
I approached the recording sessions happily scratching my head over the story Director Kamiyama created.
Since this is a cross-media project encompassing both anime and game, I am extremely excited for how things unfold.

When I was approached with the idea, "Let's make a Gundam set in a new timeline that isn't Universal Century or Anno Domini," I started mulling over everything: What replaces the Earth Federation or Zeon? What happens to the concept of Newtypes? What about Minovsky particles? Where did the war go in the first place? ...Twisting and turning over what makes Gundam truly "Gundam" led to a string of rather uninspired days.
Then I thought, isn't it just the absolute best that I get to build my beloved Gundam from scratch in the Reiwa era?! Once I looked at it that way, a really fun Gundam started taking shape.
And that is Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO.
