Event Report: "Jujufes 2026 -5th anniversary-"

Held over two days on the largest scale yet, "Jujufes 2026 -5th anniversary-" kicked off with a live performance by the featured artists, sending up a huge roar from the crowd. Amid the excitement and heat filling the venue, the star-studded cast took the stage.

First up was DAY1. Who-ya Extended took the stage for the opening live, performing two songs: the Season 1 second-cour opening theme "VIVID VICE" and "Chained Chase," the theme song for the Cursed Prison Island Arc of the smartphone game Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade. "We're here to celebrate the 5th anniversary with music! After all these years, I'm truly happy to be able to perform here again," they said, reflecting on making their second appearance at Jujufes. The star cast then followed, each taking the stage with their character's signature line.

With the arrival of Who-ya Extended and the cast sending the venue's energy soaring, the event moved into the "Jujutsu Kaisen Music Relay" segment. The first half looked back at the series through live orchestral performances of the show's music paired with footage, tracing the story from Season 1 through Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and up to Season 2's "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc, with live dubbing centered on standout scenes featuring Itadori, Okkotsu, and Gojo and Geto, wrapping the whole venue in an atmosphere as if they were watching the show itself. As the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" scene from Season 2 came to a close, the segment moved into a live performance by Kitani Tatsuya of "Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.)," the theme song of the compilation film Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death. The staging, which recreated the original ending sequence, sent the venue into a huge uproar, and after the performance Kitani Tatsuya said, "I'm grateful to the work that gave me the power to create 'Ao no Sumika,' and I'm glad to see that all of you still cherish it."
