Currently, the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is being streamed in one go. The original manga, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday," is by the writer Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Set in the world after the demon king's defeat, it tells the story of Frieren, a mage who has lived for over a thousand years, embarking on a journey "to know people." The original comic series has received numerous awards and enjoys immense support and acclaim, with 14 volumes published and a total circulation exceeding 24 million copies. Additionally, a second season of the TV anime is set to air in January 2026.
