The current streaming of the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is based on the manga of the same name by author Kanehito Yamada and artist Tsukasa Abe, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday." Set in a world post the defeat of the Demon King, it tells the story of Frieren, a magician who lives over 1000 years, embarking on "a journey to understand humans." The original comic series, garnering immense support and numerous awards, has surpassed a cumulative circulation of 24 million copies across 14 published volumes. The second season of the TV anime is set to air from January 2026.
