Backstage Talk Right After the Umamusume 6th Event: Kaori Ishihara (Almond Eye) & Hina Youmiya (Daring Tact)

—As this was your first appearance, did you feel any aspects unique to "Umamusume: Pretty Derby" live events?

Ishihara: At the end when we sang "Umapyoi Densetsu," running on the turf-like stage during the chorus was a funny experience. I gave it my all at full speed (laughs).

—Indeed, with the 360-degree stage this time, the turf-like feeling was even stronger.

Youmiya: This wasn’t my part, but that salmon...! (Editor’s note: The "SHAKEROCK" part performed by Mio Hoshitani [Mayano Top Gun], Ayaka Fukuhara [Seeking the Pearl], and Hiyori Nitta [Matikanefukukitaru])

Ishihara: That was amazing!

Youmiya: I heard they started band rehearsals months in advance just for this day. Seriously, playing in a band must be so tough…! I watched it on the monitor, and everyone was glittering and shining while they played, which made me personally so glad I was able to be part of this event.

Ishihara: You don’t see many female voice actors brandishing a salmon on stage, do you?

Youmiya: Not really, and even the dancers had salmon hats! I want people to watch that part over and over.
