Chiaki Kobayashi’s Birthday “Cute Gestures” Prompt Hiroki Yasumoto to Say “So Cute!” and “A Fool Who Just Came to Minato Ward”

As they continued, enjoying Okayama’s melon ice cream, Pione grape ice cream, and persimmon ice cream, Kobayashi accidentally got some ice cream on his nose. Yasumoto immediately leaned in and teased, “So cute!” Kobayashi retorted, “Only Yasumoto-san and the other male staff say ‘cute’. Why is that? There were so many female staff around earlier!” Yasumoto hyped up the viewers, saying, “There’s ice cream on his nose! Take a screenshot, set it as your wallpaper!”

When Kobayashi tasted an Aomori garlic-flavored ice cream, he commented, “It might taste like this if you aged garlic,” seeming convinced. Regarding the blueberry flavor, he exclaimed, “This is Top Four, so good.” He continued enjoying unique regional flavors such as Nara tofu ice cream, Okinawa chinsuko ice cream, and Ehime prefecture’s anmochi zoni ice cream.

Despite having tasted 31 flavors in this segment, in “Chiaki’s Favorite! Ice Cream Party Part 2,” Kobayashi enjoyed freshly made ice cream from a soft-serve machine. Things didn’t end there— in “Chiaki’s Favorite! Ice Cream Party Part 3,” he made parfaits, turning the whole day into an ice cream extravaganza.

At the end of the program, Yasumoto gifted Kobayashi a pot and a hot sandwich maker as birthday presents. He also read a heartfelt letter, bringing this lavish segment to a close. Kobayashi was visibly touched by Yasumoto’s thoughtful message and gifts.

Furthermore, during “Say You To Yo Asobi Connect WEEK” from June 9 (Monday) to June 13 (Friday), monthly MC Chiaki Takahashi will appear. On the June 15 (Sunday) live broadcast, Sora Tokui and Yuka Otsubo will guest star, joining Sobii to further liven up the program.
