Righteous Delinquent Group "Boufurin" Cast & Posters Unveiled All at Once! Koshi Mizukami and More Confirmed for Starring Roles in the Live-Action Movie "WIND BREAKER"

"WIND BREAKER" is being adapted into a live-action film. Additionally, the entire cast and posters for the righteous delinquent group "Boufurin" have been revealed all at once.

"WIND BREAKER" began serialization on Magazine Pocket in 2021, drawing huge attention especially from younger generations. The following year, it won the "Nationwide Bookstore Staff Recommended Comics 2022" award, and in 2024 it achieved its long-awaited TV anime adaptation, dominating viewing rankings on streaming platforms. With the second season of the TV anime airing as soon as the April 2025 season, the massively popular manga has surpassed 8 million copies in circulation in just four years. The popularity continues to accelerate with a stage adaptation and a game adaptation in the works.

Kentaro Hagiwara, who has produced new coming-of-age films such as "Blue Period" and "Sayonara made no 30-pun" (30 Minutes Until Goodbye), will direct the project, with a screenplay by Yosuke Masaike, who won the Japan Academy Prize for Best Screenplay for "Haken Anime!".
