[Photos/Images] Jump Readers Will Either Grin or Break Into a Cold Sweat!? The Audaciously Risky Parodies in the Anime "Gintama" 1st

The popular anime "Gintama" is famous for its risky parody material. Among its episodes, Episode 100 stands out as an especially "aggressive" installment, featuring a succession of references that evoke "Weekly Shonen Jump" characters and famous manga artists, making viewers want to exclaim, "How far can they go!?"

In Episode 100, "The Things You Hate Are the Most Lovable," Gintoki Sakata (CV: Tomokazu Sugita), who was engrossed in reading a manga magazine, harshly criticizes the serialized manga "Gintaman." To make "Gintaman" into an interesting manga, Gintoki goes to meet the author Amachi (CV: Taketoshi Kawano) and editor Kohei Konishi (CV: Chihiro Suzuki), giving them harsh feedback: "If you can't tell characters apart just by their silhouettes, you can't make it in shonen manga."

Then, when Gintoki asks, "For example, can you tell who this is?", a silhouette wearing a hat appears on screen, and Konishi immediately answers, "It's Zofi from 'One Park'!" Following this, various recognizable silhouettes appear, including "Ruke" from "Pesu Note" with distinctive wings, "Jugo" holding a notably large sword, and "Gochu" with a characteristic spiky head.

Furthermore, Gintoki passionately declares, "To make the protagonist stand out, you need a powerful rival. Yes, just like the Chichibu-kai from 'One Park,' and 'Bakadzuki' from 'Beruto'!"

In another scene, Gintoki comments about the author of "Gyogyo no Suteki na Bouken," saying, "He's handsome and doesn't age, does he?", to which Konishi responds, "Because he's a fairy who lives for eternity."

With this succession of aggressive references, it became an episode that would make "Jump fans" laugh involuntarily.
