The anime "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class" is based on the spin-off novel "Gintama: 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei" of the hugely popular manga "Gintama" by Hideaki Sorachi. The original manga, serialized from 2003 to 2019 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) and other publications, recorded a cumulative worldwide circulation (including digital editions) of 73 million copies, and the TV anime, theatrical anime films, and live-action films were all well-received. "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class" is a school comedy set in Class 3-Z of Gintama High School, featuring familiar characters including homeroom teacher Ginpachi Sakata (CV: Tomokazu Sugita).

Bank robbery suspects are on the run.
