——On the other hand, the place in the photo on the back cover, where you're wearing a dress...

Date: That's Macau.

——I see. This has a somewhat European taste.

Date: Right. The streets have a mix of retro atmosphere and modern feel. This (back cover) photo was taken on the first day of our stay. So I was very nervous myself. In that state, the cobblestones were so beautiful, and romantic night views were in my field of vision, so I have memories of shooting with a really happy feeling.

——It has an atmosphere where I'd believe you if you said "We shot this in France" (lol). Changing the topic, have there been any reactions from people around you about the photo book?

Date: They haven't seen the completed version yet, but since quite a few preview shots have been released, there were reactions to those. There's a photo in yellow clothes, interacting with water at poolside, and I hadn't done anything like that in previous shoots. So I got messages from Liella! members I'm close with like "Looking forward to it." "Really curious about the contents."

Usually we exchange messages full of emojis, but they used periods "." giving it suddenly a serious feel (lol). So I'm thinking I want them to see it soon. Also, some members said things like "Let's go to this location together next time," and that made me really happy too.

——This is a question about the production aspect of the photo book, but in the process of creating one book, what moment does Date-san feel happiest? Since this is your second book, please tell us including your experience with your first photo book.

Date: At the checking stage, even though I'm saying this myself (lol), I think things like "Wow, so beautiful" and get very excited, but I think there are also parts you don't know until the completed product arrives in your hands.

I can already see the completed data like this, but after all, it's the readers who will be reading it. I have feelings of anticipation about what everyone will think when they see this, but also the nervousness is a bit stronger. What kind of impressions will I receive after the release date?

But I become really happy just knowing that people read it, so the time after the release date is when I'm happiest. Knowing that everyone actually picked it up and read it—that's what makes me happiest.
