Danko's father, who once appeared at the Tamarikawa Elementary School Dodge Ball Club and built a legend with his indomitable spirit as the "Flaming Dodgeball Player." Danko's way of life is greatly influenced by his teaching: "Always give it your all!!" At Tōkyūji Temple, where his best friend Chinnen serves as head priest, a massive tombstone bearing Danpei's name stands tall, erected through the goodwill of his rival Taiga Nikaidō.

Chinko's father and the current head priest of Tōkyūji Temple.
A man with guts that rival no one, he was once a member of the Tamarikawa Elementary Dodge Ball Club, fighting through countless fierce battles alongside his best friend Danpei.
He dotes on his daughter Chinko and they share a close father-daughter relationship, but the name he painstakingly came up with for her isn't necessarily appreciated!?
