A master mercenary possessing exceptionally high combat skills and a robust physique. He is a rare wielder of a double-bladed sword and possesses absolutely no magic power. He won't hesitate to kill for a job, but he's not one for pointless bloodshed. He meets Siasha after joining a witch subjugation squad.

I'm Taito Ban, and I'll be playing the role of Zig Crane. Zig is a mercenary who has traveled the world and learned rational ways to survive, while Siasha is someone who has lived a long life but has spent it hiding alone due to persecution. The story of these two begins with a brutal fight to the death. Please look forward to "Witch and Mercenary," a dark, profound, quiet, and somewhat ephemeral story woven by two outcasts who are far from heroes.
Siasha (CV: Saori Hayami)
An anomalous being feared and known as the "Witch of Silence." She is remarkably beautiful and excels at earth magic. Her sensibilities differ from normal humans, making her a bit naive about the world, but she's a natural researcher at heart and loves acquiring knowledge.
She meets Zig and hires him as her bodyguard.

I will be voicing Siasha. When I first read the original work, I was drawn into its profound and delicate narrative that still manages to have a light, airy feel to it. During recording, we're spending incredibly dense and fulfilling sessions carefully and meticulously layering the expressions of each character. I want to tackle every scene with focus while making sure to have fun. I hope you'll pay attention to how the relationship between Zig and Siasha evolves over time. Please look forward to fully experiencing the world of "Witch and Mercenary" brought to life in animation.
