A Silent High School Girl × A Middle-Aged Detective! TV Anime Adaptation of "A Pen, Handcuffs, and a Common-Law Marriage" Confirmed; Teaser PV Released

The TV anime adaptation of the manga "A Pen, Handcuffs, and a Common-Law Marriage", written by Shinichi Sawaragi and illustrated by Gasuyama Tank, has been officially confirmed. A teaser PV has also been released alongside the announcement.

Currently serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha), this popular series has surpassed 400,000 copies in circulation. The story is a "new-sense" romantic comedy mystery featuring an iconic duo that transcends generations and social standing: Tsugumi Kuchinashi, a "pen-and-paper" high school heroine who doesn't utter a single word, and Eiji Kirisame, a dead-serious middle-aged detective dedicated to his field work.

The newly released teaser PV utilizes panels from the original manga. Despite its short length, the video highlights the distinct personalities of both Tsugumi and Kirisame, condensing the series' unique rhythm and charm into a brief preview. Details regarding the voice cast and broadcast window are scheduled for future announcements.

To celebrate the news, both author Shinichi Sawaragi and illustrator Gasuyama Tank have provided celebratory comments and illustrations for the fans.
