[Photos/Images] "I’m laughing so hard I might crash!" Voice Actress Reina Ueda Delivers Stellar Performance as Toyota’s "Road Otaku" & "Airhead Gal" Car Navigation Systems—"There’s zero reason NOT to want this" 1st

To celebrate "Voice Day" on May 8th, Toyota Motor Corporation’s official X account has released a series of animated videos titled "Quirky Character! Car Navis," featuring the voice of Reina Ueda. The project has quickly become a viral sensation.

The released videos include multiple versions, such as "What if your car navi was a Road Otaku?" and "What if your car navi was an Airhead Gal?" In the Road Otaku version, the car navigation system (CV: Reina Ueda) delivers a passionate, high-speed lecture on rare road signs, such as the "Two-and-a-half-turn Caution" sign at Ondo Ohashi Bridge in Hiroshima and "Horse Crossing" signs found near riding clubs in Hokkaido. Meanwhile, the Airhead Gal version features the navi spouting trendy slang with lines like, "Wait, how do I read this map again? Hmm, is this a checkmate? (lol)" and "Oh, was that a cafe?! Totally! (Sorena!)"

This project serves as a web commercial introducing Toyota's car navigation features. Each video concludes by highlighting convenient functions, such as voice-activated destination searching and the ability to select the easiest driving routes.

Fans have flooded social media with enthusiastic requests for a commercial release, with comments like: "Please, I’m begging you to sell this lol," "I’d laugh so hard I’d probably crash the car," "She’s so loud LMAO, but driving would be way more fun," "If this existed, I’d buy it in a heartbeat," "This navi is legendary...!", "She's a liability but I love her," "Way too cute," and "There is literally no reason not to want this."
