It has been announced that "SHAUN THE SHEEP THE BEAST OF MOSSY BOTTOM," the third feature-length film in the clay animation "Shaun the Sheep" series produced by Aardman Animations in the UK, will be released in theaters nationwide on October 23. Along with this announcement, a teaser trailer and a poster visual have been unveiled.

"Shaun the Sheep" made its screen debut in the 1995 film "Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave" and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2025. Furthermore, its production studio, Aardman Animations, is also celebrating its 50th anniversary, making this latest film a release that marks a memorable anniversary year.

The film is set at Mossy Bottom Farm, where the familiar Shaun and his friends live. Triggered by the Farmer ruining Shaun and the flock's precious pumpkin patch, unexpected events unfold one after another. Shaun transforms into a mad scientist to try and fix the situation, but it escalates into an uncontrollable uproar, eventually leading to the appearance of a terrifying beast.

The film's screenplay is written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow. It is directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker. In the newly released teaser trailer, viewers can catch a glimpse of the "shaggy beast" that suddenly appears on the peaceful farm, as well as a snippet of the thrill-packed adventure.
