The anime Daemons of the Shadow Realm is based on the latest work by Hiromu Arakawa, the author of Fullmetal Alchemist, currently serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan. After his home village is attacked, the boy Yuru sets out to confront the legends, mysteries, and secrets lurking within the village, in this fantastical tale of otherworldly beings.
Episode 14, "Family and Friend" [Synopsis]
Having witnessed the slaughter in the East Village, Danji leaves the village and descends to the world below. Rescued along the way by Oshira-sama, he hurries to reach Yuru. Meanwhile, Hana returns home after finishing a "grave-digging" job commissioned by "the bandits": burying the shaman killed by Ivan along with the true form of the shaman's Tsugai. Although the bandits had sworn her to secrecy, she passes on, as if talking to herself, the message carved into the shaman's stomach for Yuru — "Come to Fujimurayama Warehouse No. 1 at the Hour of the Boar on the next full moon" — conveying it to Dera.
