The third season of the TV anime Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will begin broadcasting on July 5, airing every Sunday at 24:00 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other networks. Along with the release of the latest PV, the ED theme song has been confirmed as "Inori, Owareba" by Mika Nakashima.
Since its serialization began in 2012 on the novel submission website "Shosetsuka ni Narou," Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation has boasted immense popularity, with a cumulative total of over 18 million copies in print across the series. The story follows a 34-year-old unemployed, single, hikikomori NEET man who is kicked out of his home by his family and ultimately dies in a traffic accident, only to be reincarnated in a fantasy world of swords and sorcery as Rudeus Greyrat. Using the memories and regrets of his past life as fuel, the grand adventure depicts him facing various encounters and trials while vowing to "live life to the fullest this time."
The TV anime series based on the novel has aired its first and second seasons, gaining high popularity not only in Japan but also overseas. Now, 2026 marks a memorial year celebrating the 5th anniversary of the anime adaptation, showing even greater excitement.
In the second season, while Rudeus built happiness by getting married and starting a family, he was struck by despair when he lost his father, Paul, in the battle to save his missing mother, Zenith. Despite this, he looks forward and chooses to walk alongside his own family. Such a turbulent story unfolded.
As its sequel, the third season, which begins broadcasting on July 5, is scheduled to start the story from the 13th volume of the original novel. For Rudeus, a new drama and adventure will unfold, shaking his world more intensely than ever before.
In the newly released PV, striking scenes show Rudeus, having accepted the despair of losing his father and moving forward, spending peaceful times with his beloved family, including his two wives, Sylphiette and Roxy, and his mother, Zenith, alongside memorable lines of his determination to protect them. It also includes a powerful magic scene where Rudeus and Roxy summon lightning, offering a glimpse of the drama and action to unfold in the third season, further heightening fans' expectations.
