Furthermore, information about the third season's ED theme song and its audio track were also unveiled within this PV. The ED theme for the third season is "Inori, Owareba," performed by Mika Nakashima, who has released numerous hit songs such as "Yuki no Hana" and "GLAMOROUS SKY" and will celebrate her 25th debut anniversary in November. The song was written and composed by Shinoda (Gt./Vo.) of the rock band Hitorie, who previously handled the OP theme "On the Frontline" for the second part of Mushoku Tensei Season 2. Comments have arrived from both Mika Nakashima and Shinoda.
Mika Nakashima's Comment
"I am deeply honored to sing the ending theme song for the third season of the TV anime Mushoku Tensei. This song, 'Inori, Owareba,' was provided by Shinoda-san from Hitorie. I feel I have received a song with a fresh character unlike any of my previous tracks.
During production, I could deeply feel Shinoda-san's passionate sentiment of 'doing this for Mika Nakashima...', which made me incredibly happy, and I am grateful for this wonderful encounter. I want to cherish and continue singing this song with great care. I hope everyone enjoys 'Inori, Owareba' along with the anime."
Shinoda's Comment
"I had the privilege of writing a song called 'Inori, Owareba' for Mika Nakashima-san. This is also a song directed toward the third season of the TV anime Mushoku Tensei. Receiving such an incredible opportunity generated an insane amount of gravity around me, to the point where I completely lost track of what kind of song I should write, leaving me temporarily crushed flat. After that, I reached a state of mind where there was no room for pretension—I realized there was no choice but to have Mika Nakashima-san sing a straightforward 'love song' born right from within myself, and I managed to finish writing it safely. I think it was a type of gravity I hadn't felt in a long time.
The moment Mika Nakashima-san's voice came through a song I had written—since it was, of course, the very first time hearing her voice from my own track—I remember being so excited that my blood felt like it was vaporizing, thinking, 'Mika Nakashima-san's voice is coming out of a song I wrote!!!'
The title 'Inori, Owareba' came to my mind first, and though I let it sit for a few days to see if a better title would come up, nothing ever surpassed these words. I believe it became a song that could only be described as 'Inori, Owareba.'"
