On ABEMA, the first real-world event "PRISMation Film Fes. 2026" for "Project PRISMation"—a project aiming to create original anime works together with next-generation anime creators—was held at United Cinemas Toyosu on May 17.

At this event, a total of 23 masterpieces and talked-about works that have graced the indie anime scene were screened on the theater's giant screen, including works originated from "Project PRISMation" such as "Poppin-Play Kitchen", "Gluttomy", and "The Horrors' Horror Home", as well as "Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko" (Makoto Shinkai), "Fumiko no Kokuhaku" (Hiroyasu Ishida), "My Little Goat" (Tomoki Misato), "PUPARIA" (Shingo Tamagawa), and "LUCA" (Nina Ai).

Furthermore, a special talk session was held featuring a lineup of creators including Tomoki Misato, who served as the creator and director of "PUI PUI MOLCAR", Shingo Tamagawa, whose work "PUPARIA" has received high acclaim both domestically and internationally, and Nina Ai, who has worked on music videos for artists like YOASOBI and Ado. In addition to discussing the works that inspired them, the thoughts they poured into their own creations, and the behind-the-scenes of production, they engaged in a deep conversation from a creator's perspective, touching on expressions unique to indie anime, production struggles, and differences from commercial anime.
