[Photos/Images] You Can't Help But Notice the Huge Hamburg Steak, But... Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Plushie's Meal Scene Sparks Reactions: "The Buildings in the Background Are Crazy" 1st

On the official X account for the original "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" manga, a post featuring a Frieren plushie titled "Frieren of Volume Increase" was published and is generating a lot of buzz.

In the posted image, along with the short caption "Frieren of Volume Increase," a plushie of Frieren (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) is shown sitting in front of a plate with a massive Hamburg steak. Next to the giant piece of meat, which evokes the oversized Hamburg steak served to reward warriors in the series—commonly known as the "stupidly huge Hamburg steak"—rice, salad, and sauce are served. With a cityscape looked down upon from what appears to be a window seat on a high floor as the backdrop, it is a cute shot that looks as though Frieren is leisurely enjoying her meal from the extra-large menu.

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a fantasy manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan), written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It depicts the story of Frieren, a mage who defeated the Demon King alongside the Hero Himmel and others, as she embarks on a new journey to understand humans from the perspective of an elf who lives for over a thousand years. The series has received high acclaim, winning the Grand Prize at the "Manga Taisho 2021," and is a massive hit that has also been adapted into a TV anime.

In response to this post, fans have chimed in with comments poking fun at the oversized menu, saying things like "The balance between the meat and the salad lol" and "The Hamburg steak is way too big!" Furthermore, due to the distinctive visual, many fans deduced that it is the "Warrior's Hamburg Steak" served at the collaboration cafe with "Harukas 300." Comments expressing surprise at the view outside the window—a unique feature of the location at an observation deck 300 meters above the ground—have also been shared, such as "The buildings in the background look insane."
